Mission statement of the CEHA Technical Advisory Committee on Food Safety:

The purpose of the CEHA Technical Advisory Committee on Food Safety is to inform, assist and support CEHA members involved in inspecting food service establishments and/or retail food stores. It strives to provide up-to-date information about food safety activities in CT, the northeast region, and nationally by utilizing the CEHA website and The Environmentalist newsletter. The food committee also collaborates with the Legislative Committee in submitting comments to the CT legislature on proposed laws affecting food safety.
